Frequently Asked Questions
Where is my data stored? On your device, and synced through your own private iCloud account. 12F has no servers and never sees your data. See the privacy policy.
Does recording a ride drain my battery? Recording uses GPS for the length of the ride, which does use power — the same as any ride- or run-tracking app. Location is only used while a ride is recording, never otherwise.
I bought Pro but it’s not showing on my other device. Open the Pro screen and tap Restore purchase. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so it restores on any device signed in to the same account.
How do I turn off analytics? Settings → Share anonymous analytics. It never includes any of your motorcycle data either way.
Can I get my data out? Yes — Pro can export a bike’s history as a PDF or CSV, produce a seller’s document when you sell a bike, and hand a bike over to another rider as a transferable passport file.
