This privacy policy describes how MeuGrana handles information when you use our iOS application.
Information Collection and Use
MeuGrana is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your personal financial data. All information you enter stays on your device (or optionally syncs via your personal iCloud account).
Data you enter in the app:
- Transactions: Date, amount, type (income/expense), category, payment method, notes, and associated credit card
- Credit Cards: Card name, last 4 digits, closing day, due day, credit limit, and color preference
- Installments (Parcelas): Store name, total amount, number of installments, start date, category, and associated card
- Salary Profile: Gross salary, INSS/IRRF deductions, benefits (vale refeição, vale transporte), and pay day
- Settings: Notification preferences, appearance settings, and sync preferences
Data Storage
Local Storage (Default): All data is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data is kept in a private app container that only MeuGrana can access. We do not have servers or databases that store your information.
iCloud Sync (Optional, Premium Feature):
If you are a premium subscriber, you can optionally enable iCloud sync to keep your data synchronized across your iOS devices. When enabled:
- Data syncs via Apple’s CloudKit service to your personal iCloud account
- Apple manages encryption and security of iCloud data
- You can enable or disable sync at any time in Settings
- We never have access to your iCloud data
Third-Party Services
MeuGrana uses only Apple’s built-in services:
- Apple StoreKit: For processing in-app subscriptions. Transactions are handled entirely by the App Store. We do not process or store payment information.
- Apple CloudKit: For optional iCloud sync (premium feature). Data is stored in your personal iCloud account, managed by Apple.
- Apple UserNotifications: For local notifications about due dates and reminders. All notifications are scheduled and processed locally on your device.
We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Analytics and Tracking
We do not track you. MeuGrana does not include any analytics SDKs or tracking code. We do not collect:
- Usage patterns or behavior data
- Device identifiers
- IP addresses
- Location data
- Any form of telemetry
Notifications
MeuGrana can send local notifications to remind you about:
- Upcoming bill due dates
- Credit card closing dates
- Completed installment payments
- Months with high expenses
- Daily spending summaries
All notifications are generated and scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.
Data Export
Premium subscribers can export their data as CSV files. These files are generated locally on your device and shared using iOS’s standard share sheet. We do not receive copies of exported data.
Children’s Privacy
MeuGrana does not collect any personal information from users of any age, including children under 13. Since all data remains on the user’s device, we have no means of identifying or collecting information from children.
Your Rights and Data Control
You have complete control over your data:
- View: All your data is visible within the app
- Edit: Modify any transaction, card, or profile information
- Delete: Remove individual records or delete all data by uninstalling the app
- Export: Premium subscribers can export data as CSV
- Sync Control: Enable or disable iCloud sync at any time
Since we do not collect or store your data on our servers, there is no data for us to provide, modify, or delete on your behalf.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the App Store and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
