Provaro App Privacy Policy.

This privacy policy describes how Provaro handles information when you use our iOS application.

The short version

Provaro has no user accounts, no servers of our own, and no analytics. We do not collect, store, or transmit anything about you, your customers, or your work. There is no sign-up, and nothing to opt out of.

Information Collection and Use

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you or your device. The app is designed to work completely offline and locally on your device — you can photograph a job, mark up the photos, produce the PDF and hand it to your customer with no network connection at all.

Third-Party Services

There are none. Provaro contains no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising framework, and no third-party libraries of any kind. Nothing in the app reports back to us or to anyone else.

Data Storage

Everything you create — reports, photographs, annotations, captions, your business details and logo — is stored on your device. We have no servers and no database, and no way to see any of it.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, Provaro keeps your reports in sync across your own devices using Apple’s CloudKit private database.

This is worth stating precisely rather than glossing over:

  • The data is held in your iCloud account, under your Apple ID, subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
  • 12F ApS has no access to it, no copy of it, and no ability to read it.
  • Sync is a convenience, not a requirement. The app is fully functional with iCloud switched off, including producing and sharing PDFs.

Location

Provaro can optionally fill in a job address for you, using your device’s location.

  • It is off unless you ask for it, per report section.
  • It is used only to write an address into the report you are making, and to draw an optional map on your own PDF.
  • It is never transmitted to us, because there is nowhere for it to be transmitted to.
  • The app never requests your location in the background.

If you would rather type the address, or leave it out, nothing else changes.

Photographs

Photographs you take in the app are saved to Provaro’s own storage on your device. Photographs you import stay where they are — the app reads a copy and does not modify or delete anything in your photo library.

Your Exported PDF

The PDF is generated on your device and handed to the standard iOS share sheet, so you choose where it goes — WhatsApp, iMessage, email, AirDrop, Files, or anywhere else. It does not pass through any server belonging to us. We never see the document, its photographs, or who you send it to.

Purchases

Provaro offers a single one-time purchase, handled entirely by Apple’s App Store. We never see your payment details. Whether you have purchased is read from the App Store on your device.

Children’s Privacy

Our application does not collect any personal information from users of any age, including children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the App Store and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect or store any personal information, there is no personal data held by us for you to access, correct, export or delete. Your reports are yours: they live on your device and, if you choose, in your own iCloud account, and deleting the app removes them from the device.
